Job description

Responsible for obtaining complete and accurate patient data during the registration process, including insurance verification as well as necessary signatures. To present a professional and caring image to patients, visitors and hospital staff. Managing responsibilities effectively and efficiently to avoid interference with patient care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Education Required: High School Diploma/GED
  2. License(s) Required None
  3. Experience/Skills:
  • 6 Months experience as an ER Registrar is preferred.
  • PC Proficient with knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Bi-lingual Spanish/English Required.
  • Knowledge of EPIC preferred
  • Typing - Minimum 25-30 wpm
  • Accurate attention to detail.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a TEAM PLAYER.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Emergency Room Area
