Salary: Full Time - $75,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience


Job Description:

Seeking a dedicated Estimator to join our team and play a pivotal role in the pre-construction phase, serving as the essential bridge between our business development and construction operations teams.


Position Overview:

As the Estimator, you will be the lead point of responsibility and accountability during the pre-construction phase. Your primary goal will be to ensure that standards of daily performance and procedures are met from project inception to turnover to the operations team.


Key Responsibilities:

โ€ข Develop precise estimates and competitive bids for construction projects.

โ€ข Perform self-led take-offs to gather necessary data for bids.

โ€ข Review construction plans, specifications, and perform take-offs to gather bid information.

โ€ข Assess sites to collect data for estimates on renovations and modifications to existing buildings.

โ€ข Design and propose solutions for client-specific needs.

โ€ข Operate the companyโ€™s estimating software to produce accurate bids and estimates.


Skills and Qualifications:

โ€ข Proficient in mathematics, including basic arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.

โ€ข Advanced knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction disciplines.

โ€ข Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Word and Excel.

โ€ข Excellent typing skills and ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
