About the Company

Our client is a growing construction company with a strong focus on delivering high-quality projects for federal clients. The company is committed to safety, quality, accountability, and building long-term relationships with its customers and project partners.

The company is seeking an experienced construction professional to join its team as a Superintendent and help lead federal construction projects throughout the Cleveland market.

About the Position

The Superintendent will take a leadership role in managing day-to-day field operations on federal construction projects. This individual will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors and crews, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed successfully.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial construction experience, a solid understanding of federal project requirements, and hands-on experience using Procore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily field operations for federal construction projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Manage project sequencing, scheduling, manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Monitor progress and ensure work remains on schedule.
  • Maintain high standards for quality and workmanship.
  • Enforce company and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Communicate regularly with Project Managers, subcontractors, clients, and other project stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule, cost, or quality.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and daily reports using Procore.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on jobsite progress.
  • Assist with project closeout and successful turnover to the client.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent.
  • Experience with federal construction projects strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, scheduling, and field coordination.
  • Proficiency with Procore is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Strong subcontractor management and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of construction safety and quality-control practices.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Must be based in or around the Cleveland, Ohio market.
