As a leader in our "empowering all" effort, you will play a key role in bringing out the best in the dental team, as they deliver a best-in-class dental experience to our patients.   • The Dental Team - As an assistant department head, you will be responsible for the business operations of the patient journey, including patient scheduling, reception, supporting the patient experience, visit completion, and patient return. With the support of your office leader, you will lead a team of practice team members to change lives, one smile at a time.
  • The Patient - As one of the Chief Smile Ambassadors of the practice, you are the gatekeeper of the patient journey. Requirements
  • Previous experience (3 + years) as the office/practice manager of a busy service oriented multi-specialty dental practice.
  • Must love people, working in teams, and demonstrate an aptitude for having fun, leading bravely, and creating greatness
  • A demonstrated commitment to an exemplary employee and patient experience
  • Associates degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of dental practice operations and management
  • Familiarity or experience with dental practice management systems preferably Dentrix/Ascend
  • Understanding of managerial and financial reporting and financial principles (i.e., practice management reports, production reports, financial statements) is a plus
  • Willingness to build trust to achieve results
