Job description

Award Care at Harts Harbor is seeking Administrator in Training (AIT) to join our team as an Intern.

JOB SUMMARY:

Accountable for the administration of the community to insure fulfilling the Westminster Services mission statement, and the provision of quality daily services to the residents (as determined by the Board of Directors and Management Services Directors/Coordinators); maintain all operational and quality standards as developed and promulgated by Management Services Directors/Coordinators; preserve the community and grounds, develop and train employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Promotes and communicates Legendary Service and honors and upholds the mission of the organization.

2. Responsible for acting and responding in a professional manner.

3. Assists in AIT duties by carrying out delegated, selected duties under the supervision of the Health Services Administrator or Executive Director.

4. Carries out AIT duties on a regular basis, acting within the reasonable scope of practice for an Administrator in Training.

5. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

B.S. degree in health related or business major. Masters degree desirable.

EXPERIENCE AND BASIC KNOWLEDGE:

Minimum of 3-years successful management experience in retirement industry, preferably within multi-facility organization.

Currently hold or have the ability to obtain an Administrator's License in the State of Florida in a short period of time.
