Job description

A well known events SaaS company is opening up an office in Raleigh, NC and looking to bring on a Technical Product Manager to partner with their CTO.ย 
With a braod book of business and a web app that has over a thosand venues and planners run theirย their bookings, clients, contracts, payments, and day-to-day operations on our platform. We have a proven product, a loyal customer base, and a profitable business. Now they're looking to build something new - an AI-native version of their app.ย 
This is an early hire on the new product team โ€“ high-impact, end-to-end ownership, and a front-row seat to one of the most interesting product opportunities in vertical SaaS.

Youโ€™ll own the discovery efforts that inform product direction, including direct customer research, in-depth competitor analysis, and identifying patterns across AI-first products in adjacent spaces. Using those insights, youโ€™ll shape product requirements, prioritize the roadmap, and partner closely with engineering to deliver features from concept through post-launch iteration.

This is a deeply hands-on and technical product role. Youโ€™ll collaborate directly with engineers on architecture, integrations, data structures, and AI-driven workflowsโ€”not just define requirements at a high level. Success in this role requires operating close to the implementation details and taking full ownership of outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years in product management, with significant SaaS experience
  • Strong technical background โ€” comfortable defining APIs, integrations, data models, and AI-driven workflows with engineering
  • A track record of leading customer discovery and turning research into product direction
  • Demonstrated ability to ship โ€” from blank page to launched product
  • Comfort building structure and process from scratch in a fast-moving environment
