• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to identify clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs, and develop tailored interventions.
• Provide individual and group counseling services using evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, ensuring that each session is client-centered and goal-directed.
• Develop and implement service plans that aim to meet clients' specific goals and objectives, making adjustments based on progress and feedback.
• Act as a passionate advocate for clients, addressing their rights and providing access to necessary resources to support their well-being.
• Collaborate actively with community organizations, government entities, and other professionals to enhance service delivery and maximize impact.
• Engage in program development and evaluation activities, including grant writing and reporting to ensure the continuous improvement and sustainability of services.
• Participate in team meetings, ongoing training programs, and community outreach efforts, contributing insights and innovative ideas to foster collaboration.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will work primarily with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, including those facing socioeconomic challenges, mental health issues, trauma, and other life stressors. Understanding that every client’s experience is unique, you will approach each case with empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity, ensuring that the services provided are respectful and inclusive.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required for this position.
• Demonstrated knowledge of social justice principles, trauma-informed care, and community resources will greatly enhance your effectiveness in the role.
• Strong communication, empathetic engagement, and organizational skills are essential attributes for successful performance in this position.

• Previous experience working in a nonprofit or community-focused organization is preferred but not mandatory.
• Hands-on familiarity with case management, program development, and service planning within social work settings will be advantageous.
• A background in advocacy work and understanding of social issues impacting marginalized populations is highly valued.
