POSITION SUMMARY
The Cage and Club Cashier is responsible to provide a level of service which is gracious, kind and warm that creates a sense of fondness that is Hometown Hospitality and have Fun with our guest. Comply and follow with strict adherence to Internal Control Policies and Procedures, state regulations, Bank Securities Act, Title 31 Rules and Regulations, and the company’s Responsible Gaming Plan.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all inclusive.
1.Safeguard company assets and adhere to all cage and club policies and procedures.
2.Maintain and is held accountable for all funds entrusted to him/her on an assigned shift.
3.Create teamwork by helping co-workers with essential function.
4.Balance all money transactions and paperwork.
5.Meet all attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
6.Adhere to all company policies and procedures to include strict adherence to attendance and appearance guidelines as well as confidentially regarding player information.
7.Handle guest financial as well as club transactions.
8.Be alert for fraud, forged/counterfeit currency and/or vouchers.
9.Balance all funds under his/her responsibility and prepare reconciliation reports accordingly.
10.Ensure at all times that the cash inventory is well secured.
11.Issue free slot play, up to authorized limit, and food coupons to guests.
12.Enter all new Club memberships and data entry; promotes Club membership.
13.Conduct him/her in a gracious, kind and warm manner that creates a sense of fondness, as well as professional, courteous and responsive manner, which reflects positively on the company and its core values of Fun, Friendly and Community.
14.Other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must have ability to:
•Communicate effectively with all levels of Team Members, guests and outside contacts.
•Work effectively in a fast paced environment.
•Move around all work areas effectively and efficiently.
•Work long hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
•Extended time on your feet.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 21 years of age or older to apply. High school diploma or GED. Banking and guest service experience preferred. Must have a friendly demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public. Must be able to work in an intense and fast paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform required job duties. Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position. Must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance. Must have an optimistic outlook, proven track record of leading, inspiring, success in service excellence, attention to quality details, great communication skills and know how to deliver fun.
REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the other duties described herein, each and every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
•Attend required training sessions offered by the casino.
•Obtain required license(s).
•Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
•Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
•Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department.
•Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gambling.
•Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and Internal Controls.
•Take the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management
•Report any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any staff member that they have knowledge of.
