Overview

This position will work on integrated media plans for Lexus, across all national media channels. They will assist the media planning team in the development of media plans through research, plan maintenance, billing stewardship, budgeting and reporting for national automotive campaigns. This requires strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail/accuracy due to depth and breadth of client's media commitments. The person in this role must effectively communicate the status of projects to Media Supervisor (MS).

The Media Coordinator will support the media plans across all media types, with skills including:

  • Attention to detail, mathematical, analytical thinking, and being able to communicate status to the planning team

  • High comfort and interest in working with numbers and data, research and billing

  • An interest in consumer behavior, psychographics and demographics

  • An interest in the entertainment and media landscape; understanding how people choose to spend their time with media

  • A curiosity about advertising and the world of marketing

  • High energy and attention to detail; personable and engaged

    Skills/Abilities:Must have strong organizational skills and possess an aptitude for accuracy and details. Computer literacy is mandatory (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Able to multi-task projects and prioritize urgent projects to meet deadlines (internal and client deadlines). Requires strong communication skills to work effectively with Media Planners and department counterparts. Must be a self-starter, possess a positive attitude, and contribute toward building a cohesive team.

    Day to Day:

    Pre-Planning & Planning Process:

 Assist in the media pre-planning & planning processo Gather and analyze research and 3rd party data such as: syndicated research (ex. - MRI, Kantar, etc), and media

trends for RFP list developmento Assist in development of media partner recommendations

  • Serve as day-to-day point of contact with media supervisor regarding responsibilities such as negotiations, make goods, savings analysis, and contract reviews for the sales rep community

  • Create POV analysis and recommendations upon client and agency requests

  • Meetings with vendors

  

Implementation & Execution:

  • Weekly/Bi-weekly highlights and allocations

  • Review and manage campaign insertion orders with publishers

  • Input campaign billing in management system

  • Implement campaigns into third-party ad-server via Media Ocean/ Prisma and ad verification via DoubleVerify

o Live site check on campaign launch days and throughout the flight

  • Work with and provide necessary documents to Account/Traffic/Production

  • Pull screenshots for all media placements for proof of performance for the client

  • Assist with providing production team specification information and following up with questions

    Tracking/Analysis:

 Contribute to campaign reporting for the client and within the agencyo Data pulls from 3rd Party ad-server for performance and optimization reporting o Interpret 3rd party data and studies

Maintenance:

 Resolve billing discrepancies with publishers and Resources department

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Generate ideas to support an "Ideas Culture" agency (e.g. internal idea for the agency or department, media idea that meets a client objective)

  • Participate in training and educational courses as needed Experience: Entry level

    Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Compensation Range: $39,710.00 - $55,110.00 Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
