BLUECREST AMENITY MANAGEMENT
Position: Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Field Supervisor
Work Locations: NYC Tri-State Area (Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens)
Compensation: Competitive compensation based on experience, certifications, and overall
qualifications
Bluecrest Amenity Management, a leading provider of aquatic and amenity management
services, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Field
Supervisor to oversee multiple aquatic facilities throughout New York City.
This role is ideal for a proactive leader who can operate independently, enforce compliance
standards, and elevate both staff performance and site conditions. The CPO Field Supervisor
plays a critical role in ensuring all locations meet NYC Department of Health regulations,
maintain safe swimming environments, and deliver a high standard of presentation and
professionalism. This position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of
properties, including luxury residential buildings, fitness centers, and hospitality venues.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Communication
Provide strong on-site leadership and clear communication with lifeguards, site staff, and
management teams
Act as the primary point of contact for field operations, resolving issues efficiently and
professionally
Promote accountability, professionalism, and team development across all assigned
locations
Staff Management & Compliance
Supervise lifeguard staff to ensure proper coverage, certifications, and adherence to
company and DOH standards
Monitor staff performance and enforce policies through coaching, corrective action, and
retraining when necessary
Ensure proper scheduling awareness, including proactive coverage for callouts or
lateness
Policy Enforcement & Safety Oversight
Enforce all NYC DOH Article 165 regulations and company safety protocols
Conduct regular safety audits, ensuring all rescue equipment, signage, and emergency
systems are compliant
Maintain full readiness for Department of Health inspections, including documentation
and site preparedness
Operational Task Oversight
Perform routine site inspections across multiple facilities
Maintain detailed reports including incident logs, water chemistry records, and
operational updates
Respond to operational needs both during and outside scheduled shifts, demonstrating
ownership of assigned sites
Facility & Site Management
Inspect and maintain pool systems including chemical feeders, pumps, filters, heaters,
and flow systems
Ensure proper water chemistry levels and adjust systems as needed (chlorine, pH,
alkalinity, etc.)
Identify maintenance issues, leaks, or hazards and coordinate timely resolution
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and overall site presentation
Professionalism, Reliability & Communication
Represent Bluecrest with professionalism when interacting with clients, property
managers, and inspectors
Maintain consistent communication throughout the operational day, including off-site
responsiveness when required
Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and the ability to operate independently without
constant direction
Qualifications:
Certification: Valid Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required
Lifeguard Certification: Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required
(DOH-approved preferred)
Experience: Prior experience in pool operations, facility management, or field
supervision strongly preferred
Knowledge: Strong understanding of NYC DOH regulations, water chemistry, and pool
system operations
Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams, enforce policies, and operate
independently
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills
Technical Ability: Comfortable troubleshooting pool equipment and maintaining
operational systems
Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and
emergency response situations
Mobility: Ability to travel between multiple NYC locations
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments year-round
Ability to lift equipment and perform physical inspections when required
Must pass background check
Must maintain all required certifications in good standing
