Job description

Giambalvo s is a busy, family-owned Italian restaurant built around a scratch kitchen, wood-fired pizza, and strong team culture. We re looking for a hands-on Kitchen Manager who leads by example, works alongside the team, and helps create a fast, organized, positive kitchen environment.

Compensation:

$50,000-a year + potential commission bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside kitchen staff during service
  • Lead and manage BOH team members
  • Help oversee prep, line execution, and kitchen flow
  • Train and develop kitchen staff
  • Maintain food quality, consistency, and ticket times
  • Assist Prep Manager with inventory, ordering, and food cost control
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and health code compliance
  • Help create systems that improve efficiency and teamwork

What We re Looking For:

  • Previous kitchen leadership and strong cooking experience is a must
  • Ability to lead calmly in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
