The Role
Marcie (formerly the Community Information Exchange Initiative) is a Franklin County effort to improve access to health and human services through a collaborative, equity-centered technology platform. The platform manager serves as the primary steward of the platform, leading system administration, technical optimization and ongoing enhancements that support organizational and community needs.
The position supports high-impact initiatives by managing platform operations, coordinating technical projects, collaborating with vendors and partners, and developing solutions that improve workflows, data quality and user experience. Responsibilities include overseeing system integrations, supporting analytics and reporting efforts, managing platform governance and compliance requirements, and providing training and support to internal users and community-based organizations.
This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, project management and community impact. The role involves collaboration with internal teams, external partners, vendors and community organizations while building expertise in platform management, systems integration, data-informed decision-making and cross-sector collaboration.
Note: This role is grant-funded through 2027. Continued funding beyond 2027 is contingent upon securing additional funding streams.
Reports to: Director, Smart Columbus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary system administrator and technical lead for the Marcie platform, overseeing configuration, integrations, performance and security across all connected systems and data tools.
- Develop deep expertise in the Visionlink Community OS and integrated tools through training, certifications, vendor relationships and peer collaboration.
- Act as the liaison between the vendor and Marcie team, managing dependencies, risks and ensuring timely delivery of platform updates and support resolutions.
- Collaborate with the Marcie team to design, build and optimize workflows, forms, reports and automations that enhance care coordination and user experience.
- Lead and coordinate technical projects including defining requirements, managing sprints, tracking epics and user stories and ensuring quality delivery through testing and release management.
- Ensure alignment of platform operations with governance policies, compliance standards and organizational procedures while recommending feasible, risk-mitigating solutions.
- Monitor platform performance, security and vendor SLAs, escalating issues as needed and driving continuous improvements in efficiency and deployment processes.
- Manage user administration and onboarding for community-based organizations (CBOs), including account setup, permissions and customized reporting.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation and training materials, supporting internal staff and external partners through onboarding and platform education.
- Support analytics, reporting and KPI validation efforts to measure platform performance and demonstrate the Marcieโs impact on community outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in information technology, computer science, social/health/human services or related field
- 3+ of experience in platform or product management, project management implementation, experience working in within an agile development framework or a similar technical role.
Key Skills and Experience
- Experience in health and human services or information and referral strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Community Information Exchange platforms, case management systems or CRM-style platforms.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn, configure and support new systems.
- Experience applying agile practices (epics, features, user stories, sprints) and collaborating with teams and vendors to deliver software or configuration projects.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including managing timelines, dependencies and risks.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and system integrity.
- Ability to translate complex technical information for non-technical audiences and convey ideas clearly and succinctly.
- Comfortable facilitating training sessions and leading small group discussions.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Applies a service-oriented mindset to daily work and values continuous improvement.

Workplace Environment
- Some travel around the Columbus Region will be required.
- The Columbus Partnership is an in-person work environment based in Downtown Columbus.
- Work hours are generally 8 a.m. โ 4 p.m. or 9 a.m. โ 5 p.m.
- Must be available to work occasional off-hours; events and meetings will involve some early mornings, evenings and weekends.
- May be required to work more than 8 hours during a workday as deadlines demand.
