Job Summary

Goosehead Insurance is seeking a Platform Architect to design, develop, and enhance scalable technology platforms, focusing on cloud, full-stack systems, and Salesforce integration. This role will provide architectural leadership, ensuring alignment with the company's technical vision and business goals. The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to build cohesive, reliable, and secure platforms that enable innovation and operational excellence


Platform Design & Development (40%)

Design scalable, secure, and high-performance platform solutions across cloud, full-stack, and Salesforce ecosystems.

Develop and maintain platform standards, ensuring adherence to architecture principles and scalability needs.

Lead the creation of APIs, integration frameworks, and automation strategies to enable seamless platform interoperability.

Technical Strategy & Innovation (20%)

Collaborate with the Leader of Enterprise Architecture to define technology roadmaps, focusing on innovation and alignment with business goals.

Explore emerging technologies and trends in platform engineering, recommending improvements to maintain competitive advantage.

Implement best practices in cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles.

Salesforce Integration & Governance (20%)

Design and oversee Salesforce platform architecture, ensuring effective integration with enterprise systems.

Define and enforce governance processes to manage scalability, reliability, and data integrity within Salesforce-driven solutions

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in platform architecture, solution architecture, or software engineering leadership roles.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
  • Salesforce Architect certifications preferred (Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect).
