Plant Controller (42656)


Our client is an organization in the New Berlin area looking for a Plant Controller. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of related experience, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.


The salary range for this position is $120k-170k +bonus.


The Plant Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead all plant-level financial processes, including general ledger maintenance, cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Execute month-end closing activities.
  • Develop and evaluate financial models and business cases to support capital investments, cost reduction initiatives, and operational projects.
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements, variance analyses, and performance reports for management review.
  • Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Partner with procurement and continuous improvement teams to track financial impact from savings projects and process enhancements.
  • Support audit activities by providing accurate documentation and maintaining integrity in all financial records.
  • Manage the development of annual operating and capital budgets, consolidating inputs from multiple stakeholders and presenting recommendations to leadership.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and scenario modeling to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Mentor and supervise accounting staff, fostering skill development and accountability.
  • Stay current with changes in accounting standards, manufacturing trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives, helping to streamline financial processes and strengthen performance management systems.


The Plant Controller will possess the following:


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting or closely related field required.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
