KMTC USA Corporation is the U.S. subsidiary of Korea Marine Transport Co., Ltd. (KMTC), a global container carrier headquartered in Korea. KMTC operates an international container shipping network connecting major trade lanes across Asia and other regions. We are establishing and expanding our U.S. presence in Tempe, AZ and nearby cities, and we are seeking motivated, capable professionals who want to grow with us.

Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused professional to serve as the primary point of contact for our U.S. customers. This role is responsible for handling bookings, shipment tracking, documentation, and issue resolution with a high level of professionalism and accuracy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process booking requests, amendments, and cancellations
  • Provide timely shipment status updates and proactive communication to customers
  • Manage documentation (B/L, shipping instructions, etc.) and cutoff deadlines
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and exception cases
  • Coordinate closely with operations, documentation, and global teams to resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate records in internal systems
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through professional and responsive service
  • This role may require flexibility to support evolving business and operational needs


Qualifications

  • 13 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, administrative, or coordination roles
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and international environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. (Form I-9 verification required upon hire)
  • Shipping or logistics experience is a plus but not required
  • Must be able to work onsite at the assigned office location
