About This Role

Sales Development Representatives are the engine of Rubrik's go-to-market strategy. Through targeted outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification, you'll generate a high-quality pipeline for our field sales teams. This means researching accounts, crafting personalized outreach, and earning meetings with decision-makers at organizations that need what Rubrik offers.

This is a launchpad role - built to develop you into a full-cycle sales professional. Our SDRs receive structured coaching, ongoing training, and a defined career path into closing roles.

What You'll DoProspecting & Pipeline Generation
  • Support the Montreal and Toronto territories
  • Research target accounts, identify high-potential contacts, and craft personalized outreach across email, phone, and social channels to generate qualified meetings for field sales teams
  • Leverage customer success stories, case studies, and proof points in your outreach to demonstrate real-world impact - connecting a prospect's pain to how Rubrik has already solved it for organizations like theirs
  • Follow up on marketing-generated inbound leads within established SLA and compliance metrics
  • Manage your pipeline, leads, and activity data in Salesforce with discipline and accuracy
  • Track and report on your performance against defined activity and outcome targets
Collaboration & Strategy
  • Partner with your aligned field sales team to develop account strategies and break into priority accounts
  • Stay current on cybersecurity trends, the competitive landscape, and industry developments to sharpen your messaging and relevance
  • Develop deep fluency in Rubrik's products and the business problems we solve for customers
  • Participate in ongoing coaching sessions, call reviews, pitch competitions, and bootcamps designed to accelerate your sales skills.
What You'll BringRequired:
  • 0-2 years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or a customer-facing role (internships and non-traditional backgrounds welcome)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest and aptitude for learning technical concepts quickly
  • Comfort working in a metrics-driven environment with clear daily and weekly targets
  • A genuine desire to build a career in sales and business development
  • Fluency in both French and English
  • Ability to work out of Rubrik's Austin office a minimum of 4 days a week
  • Work-authorization: U.S. citizenship and residency on U.S. soil required
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, Orum, or similar sales engagement tools
  • Exposure to cybersecurity or data management technology
  • Experience using AI-powered sales tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gong, Clari, 6sense) to improve prospecting efficiency
