  • Line build. Select and build assortments that hit the target mix of fashion, quality and price, coordinate across categories, and meet the varying needs and preferences of the David's Bridal customer.
  • Product development. Partner with Product Development and Design on relevant, on-trend seasonal concepts; review and curate design sketches with an eye to key trends, assortment gaps and volume-driving styles; negotiate cost with source suppliers.
  • Channel-right assortments. Tailor assortment depth, breadth and exclusives to each channel - including channel-specific and capsule offers for Marketplace, Wholesale and Shop-in-Shop partners.

FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS
  • Co-own the financials. Co-own financial goals with Planning - including open-to-buy, SKU rationalization, life-cycle management and promotional strategy - and co-lead monthly projection reviews to manage OTB and reforecast.
  • Analyze & act. Analyze the business to drive sales and margin, including monthly Pareto and sell-through analysis, and act on the findings to optimize wins and minimize risks.
  • Inventory productivity. Partner with Planning and Demand Planning to drive turn and GMROI$ to benchmark, using disciplined Pareto analysis, demand-driven inventory flow, in-stock optimization, and proactive life-cycle and liquidation management across all six channels.
  • Report & recommend. Build and present clear, data-backed viewpoints and financial recommendations to leadership in buying and cross-functional meetings.
