Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our INTEGRATED SERVICE CENTER facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

FTE: 1.000000

Standard Hours: 40.00

Shift: 1

Schedule: 8 hour shift between the hours of 630-630, Monday through Friday

Job Summary:

Under the specific day-to-day direction of the Staff Pharmacist, Pharmacy Manager, and/or AD of Clinical Pharmacy Services and under the over-all direction of the Director of Pharmacy, the pharmacist assistant is responsible and accountable for the following: Provision of technical and clerical assistance to the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders and the monitoring of drug therapy. May procure, measure, compound, count and deliver medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Assist in the management of the decentralized drug distribution systems. Interpretation, transcription and order entry of medication orders into the Epic computer system. Maintain patient data within the computer system.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

One year in a health care setting is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Ability to concentrate and pay close attention while performing duties. Ability to use standard office equipment including computers, fax, copy, document scanners, and tube stations.
