PeaceHealth St. Josephs Medical Center in Bellingham, WA is seeking a Pharmacist Intern for a Per Diem/Relief, 0.00 FTE, Variable position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $23.74 – $35.62. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Job Summary

This position performs the basic job functions as a pharmacist while under the direct supervision of a pharmacist as a means of fulfilling the requirements of the State Board of Pharmacy for licensure. This job teaches the intern the basic concepts for providing pharmaceutical care.

What you will do:

  • Package and deliver medications to patients.
  • Interpret and input physician orders into the hospital computer system.
  • Function as a pharmacy technician while learning (and observing) the duties and responsibilities of a pharmacist.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor of Science Required: Pharmacy or currently enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Required: Current PI or PII pharmacy school student
  • Required: Working knowledge of Federal and State pharmaceutical rules, regulations, laws and procedures applicable to the profession
  • Required: Pharmacist Intern License State of Washington
