Job description

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing forecasting & analytics support to the Forecasting Director by analyzing, reviewing, and managing the analytical reporting process for ADC brands (inline and pipeline as needed). Facilitate the development of enhanced reporting analytics and prepare performance reports for internal DSI stakeholders. Provide regular performance assessment, communicate results to Brand and Senior Management, and provide any other forecasting/business analysis to support commercial and budgeting decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad‑hoc business performance and analytics.
  • Own the reporting process by actively developing Excel/VBA based performance dashboards and tracking sources of variances vs. forecast.
  • Facilitate discussions on analytics and activities required to accurately support performance analysis and forecast updates, providing necessary reporting for business stakeholders and management.
  • Support the Forecasting Director in communicating forecast/performance results to Brand and Senior Management.
  • Analyze secondary data and desk market research (quantitative and qualitative) to identify key findings and trends, incorporate them into forecast/budgeting processes.
  • Perform ad‑hoc analyses and provide insights to business questions from different stakeholders, helping them shape strategies.
  • Handle patient/claims data, demand/ex‑factory data, and review Market and Epidemiology Assessment, Pipeline Analysis, and market research.
  • Understand major pharmaceutical market events such as US drug formulary, pricing, inventory challenges, and market access implications.
  • Have a thorough understanding of at least two therapeutic areas; oncology forecasting or rare disorders experience is a plus.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the brand’s therapeutic area and competitive landscape.
  • Work closely with the Forecasting Director and Brand teams to stay aware of trends and evolving dynamics.
  • Collate relevant forecasting data with the Insights team and interpret primary research and secondary analysis to assess the effect of market events.
  • Work with market access and contract analytics teams to understand dynamics in managed care markets and their impact on revenue and profitability.
  • Assist in Net Sales forecasting (Annual Plan, Latest Estimates, other business requirements, and/or Alliance forecasts) by working with the Forecasting Director.
  • Review forecast assumptions and results with DSI stakeholders, driving decision‑making on forecast assumptions, including Alliance partners.
  • Maintain and support the forecasting team’s ecosystem, including ADC forecast model management and data management (claims, demand, etc.).
  • Participate and help drive new forecast models/solutions development and customization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 4 or more years of commensurate experience in pharma business analytics and data reporting.
  • 1 or more year(s) of experience in performance tracking, promotional, sales, prescription, payer, and patient data analytics.
  • Technical knowledge of modeling tools (e.g., Excel) and data sources (e.g., Symphony, IQVIA, Kantar Health).
  • Experience in Pharma Brand Forecasting (Demand and Patient based), Analytics, Market Access, or Finance preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of therapeutic areas competitive to DSI, especially oncology, or demonstrated ability to develop that knowledge.
