The Opportunity

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Marketing Manager to join our Commercial Business Unit. This is a hands-on role for a marketer who wants to grow in healthcare media - building the sales enablement materials, presentations, and event assets that directly equip our commercial team to connect pharmaceutical brands with the most widely used medical reference in the world.
The Role
The Marketing Manager is the production engine behind MDCalc's commercial team. You will partner directly with Account Executives and the Director of Marketing to build the proposals, presentations, and event materials that convert pharmaceutical partners and win new business. From RFP season to client conferences, you make sure the commercial team is always equipped with on-brand, persuasive, publish-ready assets.
The responsibilities of this individual include the following, but are not limited to:
  • Translate pharma brand objectives into HCP marketing plans with defined audience segments, messaging, and KPIs
  • Own brand voice, positioning, and messaging frameworks that resonate with MDCalc partners across all channels and touchpoints
  • Build and manage sales enablement assets and a digital content library - including collateral, one-pagers, and landing pages - ensuring all outputs are on-brand and aligned with business priorities
  • Lead development of executive-ready presentations for client meetings, conferences, and external events, partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment
  • Oversee email marketing campaign execution, including audience segmentation, deployment, and performance analysis
  • Manage external agencies and contractors, ensuring deliverables align with strategy, budget, and timelines

Your Background
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years at a health media company, pharma brand team, HCP-focused agency, or equivalent sales-driven media/publisher environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or related field
  • Strong understanding of HCP-targeted media platforms and point-of-care channels
  • Working knowledge of FDA promotional guidelines and MLR review processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Slides, PowerPoint, and Canva; familiarity with Photoshop is a plus
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and CRM tools
  • Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to executive and client audiences
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, consistently delivering polished, publish-ready materials on deadline"
  • Willingness to travel 10-15%
