Job description


We are seeking a part-time Bookkeeper/Personal Assistant to manage both business and personal financial accounts with accuracy, discretion, and integrity. This role requires a high level of trust, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain strict separation between personal and business finances. This position will be working in a residential environment in Argyle and requires a background check.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records for personal accounts
  • Record transactions and reconcile bank and credit card accounts in QuickBooks
  • Help with personal budgeting, run personal errands
  • Track expenses, budgets, and cash flow
  • Organize and maintain records for tax preparation and coordinate with CPAs
  • 1095 and government filings
  • Pay authorized personal and business bills
  • Identify discrepancies and report issues promptly
  • Digital and physical filing
  • Assist with Marketplace and eBay sales and listings
  • Always maintain confidentiality and audit-ready records


Qualifications

  • Proven bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with QuickBooks is a must,
  • Experience with software platforms such as OnePass, Monday.com, Excel, and all of the Microsoft suite is a big plus
  • Bonded (or willing and able to obtain bonding)
  • Texas notary a plus
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and reliability
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and be independently motivated


Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or certificate in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience handling both personal and business finances simultaneously
  • Experience working with CPAs and tax professionals a big plus
