Job description

A well-established organization is seeking a Temporary HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on onboarding, employment eligibility documentation, and employee leave processes.


This is an open-ended temporary opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent position.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate employee onboarding activities and ensure required documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Manage I-9 processing and employment eligibility documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Support administration of employee leave requests, including FMLA and ADA-related processes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, onboarding, and leave processes.
  • Assist with general HR administration and day-to-day departmental needs.
  • Ensure HR processes and documentation are handled in accordance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
  • Utilize HRIS systems to maintain employee information and support HR processes.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, or similar hands-on human resources role.
  • Practical working knowledge of FMLA and ADA.
  • Experience managing employee onboarding and I-9 processing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, confidential employee records.
  • Working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment compliance.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Workday experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work fully onsite in Miami.
