Description:

Weโ€™re seeking a temporary, part-time Human Resource Associate to support recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and employee records. This role assists with posting jobs, screening applicants, coordinating new hire orientation, helping with benefits enrollment, and maintaining HR files and data. Starting pay: $23.00/hour, DOE


Schedule: 20 hours per week, Mondayโ€“Friday. This is a temporary, part-time position expected to last approximately six months. Continued employment beyond the temporary assignment is not guaranteed.


This is an onsite position in Moscow, Idaho.

Position Summary:

The Human Resource Associate provides administrative support for recruitment, onboarding, employee benefits, recordkeeping and employee communication. This position works closely with the HR Manager to ensure efficient HR services and a positive employee experience.


Duties:

  • Assists with recruiting activities including posting positions, screening applications, assisting hiring teams and communicating with applicants.
  • Coordinates onboarding activities including new hire set-up and new employee orientation and trainings.
  • Assists with employee benefit administration including benefits orientation meetings, the open enrollment process, enrollment changes and employee communications.
  • Maintains and updates employee records and HRIS data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Generates routine HR reports and maintains HR documentation and files.
  • Supports HR compliance efforts and preparation of required employment documentation.

Additional Duties and Tasks:

  • Assists in general office operations as needed

Minimum

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of employee benefits and laws
  • Knowledge of complete MS Office suite

Preferred

  • College-level coursework in human resources, business administration or related field
  • Previous HR, recruiting, payroll or benefits administration experience
  • Experience using an HRIS or applicant tracking system
