Schedule: Monday-Friday, Standard business hours 8am - 5pm.

Employment Type: Temporary (5-Month Assignment), roughly September- February

Position Summary

VTP Holdings is seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Temporary Talent Management Generalist to provide coverage during a maternity leave. This role supports all areas of Talent Management, including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, credentialing, payroll support, leave administration, compliance, and day-to-day employee support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely with leadership, managers, payroll, accounting, and clinical teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Talent Management Administration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR questions and requests.
  • Monitor and manage the Talent Management inbox daily.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and electronic personnel files.
  • Process employee documentation.
  • Assist managers with Talent Management -related questions and employee issues.
  • Coordinate employee communications and company announcements.
  • Support employee engagement activities including birthdays, anniversaries, and office celebrations, office purchasing and event planning.
  • Assist leadership with special Talent Management projects.
  • Perform other Talent Management -related duties as assigned.
  • Assist with conflict resolution and workplace issues.
  • Provide Talent Management guidance to managers.

Payroll Support

  • Process employee changes in HRIS
  • Assist managers with payroll corrections and timecard questions.
  • Coordinate payroll-related communication with Payroll.
  • Distribute payroll reports to management.ย 
  • Submit and track UKG support tickets as needed.

Benefits Administration

  • Coordinate open enrollment in December
  • Support team members with benefit enrollments and qualifying life events.
  • Coordinate with benefit brokers and insurance carriers.
  • Process HSA contributions.
  • Process manual 401(k) deposits for K1 Team Members
  • Review monthly benefit invoices for accuracy.
  • Support COBRA, FSA, HSA, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability administration.

Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle

  • Process onboarding paperwork, ensuring nurse credentialing requirements are met.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation.
  • Assist with system access requests.
  • Support employee offboarding. ย 

Leave Administration & Workers' Compensation

  • Track employee leaves of absence.
  • Coordinate return-to-work documentation.
  • Maintain leave & claim records.
  • Communicate status with managers and internal departments.
  • Open and maintain workers' compensation claims.
  • Track deadlines and required documentation.

Credentialing & Compliance

  • Maintain nursing credential records.
  • Assign and track required employee learning modules.
  • Maintain compliance documentation and training records.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience required.
  • Experience supporting multiple HR functions simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of California employment laws.
  • Experience with payroll systems.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Experience administering employee benefits.
  • Strong knowledge of leave administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with UKG.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Experience supporting a remote workforce.
  • Healthcare or clinical staffing experience preferred.
