- BC/BE in - BC/BE in Ophthalmology- Part-time permanent position (Full-time also available)- This role combines both outpatient clinical care and surgical responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive eye care to a diverse and underserved population. The ideal candidate will be committed to clinical excellence, surgical precision, and making a lasting impact in a rural health setting.Preferred Experience:- Proficiency in cataract surgery (phacoemulsification) and common anterior segment procedures.- Ability to manage a full-spectrum ophthalmology caseload independently.- Experience in or willingness to work in a rural or medically underserved setting.- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-based approach.- Interest in mentoring or training staff or students- Perform comprehensive ophthalmologic exams and provide diagnosis and management of eye diseases and visual disorders.- Conduct surgical procedures, including (but not limited to) cataract extraction, eyelid surgeries, laser treatments, and other anterior segment surgeries.- Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients.- Provide routine and urgent care for conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and trauma-related ocular injuries.Compensation & Benefits:- Base salary $246,000 - $650,000 (full-time)- Hospital employed status (not-for-profit hospital)- Negotiable salary; guaranteed base with incentive package- Benefits include occurrence malpractice, individual and family health care insurance, CME/professional dues, paid time off, disability coverage, retirement plans, and more.- Electronic Health Records: EPICHudson, New York - Located in the upper Hudson Valley region of Upstate New York, 2 hours north of NY City and 30 minutes south of Albany, NY.- Choose from Full-time or Part-time permanent position- This role combines both outpatient clinical care and surgical responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive eye care to a diverse and underserved population.
