Nurse Residency Program

The Nurse Residency program continues Ozarks Health Care’s vision, mission and values, to provide superior nursing development to achieve the program goals.

- Transition from the entry-level advanced beginner to competent nurse

- Develop effective decision-making skills related to clinical judgment and performance

- Provide safe patient care

- Strengthen commitment to nursing as a profession

- Incorporate evidence-based science into practice

Eligibility:

- Completion of RN program within the last 6 months

- Current RN licensure preferred or scheduled with successful completion of NCLEX within 90 days

- Commitment to the residency program including participating in general and specialized learning experiences, finishing activities related to the program and completing evaluations of the program, preceptors and facilitators

- Commitment to Ozarks Health Care for one year
