Job description

Job Title: Performance Tester
Contract: 6+ months, with potential for extension or conversion
Location: Fully Remote
Interview: One-and-done technical/panel interview
Clearance: Public Trust eligibility required; candidate must be willing and able to obtain the clearance before starting the project which will take approximately 4-6 weeks.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Performance Tester. The project involves working across four existing systems and developing a proof of concept for a consolidated solution. The selected candidate will work closely with the client team to support performance testing, validation, and automation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform performance and load testing for CMS applications and systems.
  • Develop and execute performance test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts.
  • Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Support proof-of-concept development and testing across multiple systems.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, business, and client teams to ensure application performance meets requirements.
  • Document test results, defects, performance metrics, and recommendations.
  • Participate in technical discussions and provide scenario-based solutions to performance-related challenges.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and support the team through the full testing lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant testing experience with a Bachelor''s degree.
  • Strong experience in performance/load testing.
  • Experience working with healthcare applications, preferably involving claims, membership, enrollment, benefits, or EDI.
  • Experience with Facets is required.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
