Position: Strength and Conditioning Intern
Location: 5 Tool Performance Westwood, MA
Commitment: 3 Days per Week | 56 Hours per Day
About the Role
5 Tool Performance is seeking a dedicated Strength and Conditioning Intern to learn how to assist and lead in athlete development, performance testing, and training implementation. This position offers hands-on experience in an advanced, data-driven training environment that blends biomechanics, physiology, and sport-specific performance particularly in baseball.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily training sessions across youth, high school, and college-level athletes.
  • Support testing protocols including range of motion testing, jump profiling, and isometric strength assessments.
  • Aid in data collection, organization, and athlete tracking and training.
  • Help set up and maintain training equipment and technology.
  • Observe, learn, and apply biomechanical and physiological principles in live sessions.
Requirements
  • Strong anatomical understanding and foundational knowledge in Biology, Anatomy, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working with athletes (preferred, not required).
  • Passion for baseball and human performance.
