Job description

Director, Performance Marketing
We're looking for a Performance Marketing leader who can elevate both the quality of our work and the capabilities of our team.
As Director, Performance Marketing, you'll lead our Performance Marketing function, coaching and developing a team of strategists while ensuring we consistently deliver thoughtful, high-impact marketing strategies for our clients. You'll also partner on key client relationships, helping teams solve complex challenges and drive long-term success. As a senior leader within the organization, you'll collaborate across teams to help shape how our services, people, and operations evolve over time.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing people as much as solving marketing challenges. The strongest candidates will be equally comfortable coaching a team member, discussing strategy with a client, and collaborating with peers to solve broader business challenges.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead and evolve our Performance Marketing function, setting direction for how we deliver marketing strategy and client results.
  • Coach, develop, and support a team of marketing strategists, creating clear expectations, accountability, and opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of client strategy, helping teams solve complex marketing challenges and deliver measurable business results.
  • Partner with key client accounts to provide strategic guidance, solve complex challenges, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the organization to improve processes, align resources, and help shape how our teams and services evolve over time.
  • Use data, performance insights, and market trends to guide decision-making and improve client outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or growth marketing roles.
  • 3+ years leading, coaching, and developing marketing professionals.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing strategy, measurement, and digital marketing channels.
  • Experience partnering directly with clients and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to translate business goals into clear marketing strategies and actionable plans.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading teams within an agency, consulting, or other client-service environment preferred.
Is This You?
  • You genuinely enjoy coaching and developing others, and find satisfaction in helping teams succeed.
  • You take ownership of challenges, focus on solutions, and follow through on commitments.
  • You're comfortable making decisions in evolving environments where priorities shift and not every answer is known upfront.
  • You build strong relationships and communicate effectively with clients, teammates, and leaders across the organization.
  • You're curious about new tools and technologies, including AI, and interested in experimenting with ways they can improve our work.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: The annual salary range for this position is $125,000-$144,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Retirement: 401(k) plan with company match.
Time Off: Flexible PTO with no set accrual limits, plus 12 paid company holidays annually.
Work Location
This position is hybrid, based in Seattle, WA (98121).
Please note: To be considered for this role, applicants must reside in the state of Washington, in accordance with VOGLIO's location-based employment requirements and applicable state and federal law.
Sponsorship & Work Authorization
VOGLIO does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position. All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and will be required to complete employment eligibility verification upon hire.
VOGLIO is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and identities. Qualified individuals will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
