Livestock Nutrition Center specializes in blending customized rations, supplements and premixes to meet the specific nutritional needs of Livestock Producer's operations. We understand that management, performance objectives and feeding practices can be vastly different between operations, and that these differences dictate specific nutritional or formulation requirements. Our experienced sales staff and nutritionist will work with the Producer to design a feeding program that is specific to their operation.

Our focus is to provide customized feeding programs, nutritional products, and expert service to livestock producers that promote their long-term success and profitability.
Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative will most importantly serve in a sales and administrative capacity
to deliver exceptional service, both internally and externally. This individual will be responsible for aiding the sales effort by
strengthening communication and effectiveness between sales, administrative, operations, and logistics teams. The
Customer Service Representative is expected to help increase company growth by creatively strengthening relationships
with our customer base and increasing customer & employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist location Sales team in servicing and growing LNC's customer base as needed/directed
  • Develop an understanding of our formulation program, load/planner scheduling, mineral program recommendations, and trademark product sales direction.
  • Assist with phone activity. If necessary, reroute calls to the appropriate party and/or take and deliver messages.
  • Learn communication skills, feed programs, product details, and industry knowledge to effectively present LNC's customized services, products, and pricing.
  • Deliver daily feed price quotes to customers and schedule deliveries.
  • Proactively monitor customer contract execution.
  • Proactively monitor and increase customer retention.
  • Assist in sales order processing.
  • Assess Veterinary Feed Directives (VFDs) and update as needed. Keep VFDs current.
  • Use Salesforce CRM and CPQ to manage and document all interactions and sales processes with customers.
Deliver exceptional service while engaging, retaining, and building relationships with customers
  • Exceed customers' expectations with timely and courteous service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, and all other aspects of customer service.
  • Maintain contact with assigned customers in the market area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate the ability to gather and, with assistance, analyze client or prospect information.
  • Maintain internal and external professional relationships that exemplify core company values.
Strengthen location teamwork by increasing communication and effectiveness between Sales and Fulfillment
  • Proactively coordinate location marketing activities.
  • Assist Location Fulfillment Manager and Sales team in handling Accounts Receivable's issues and customer accounts.
  • Work in conjunction with Location Fulfillment Managers and follow any operations protocol/guidelines at your assigned location.
  • Assist in additional clerical, administrative, or any other duties as assigned from time to time by management.
  • Ensure accuracy of all work completed.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Agricultural experience required.
  • Preferred, 2-year Associates degree.
  • Preferred, 2 years of Administrative and Customer Service experience.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and provide superior customer service.
  • Must have ability to multitask.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must have high level of computer skills including excel, word, outlook etc.
