Job description

Position Title: Pega Developer (Top Secret Clearance Required)
Location: Washington, DC
Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret Security Clearance (Required)
Position Status: Contract W2
Pay Rate: $60/HR ON W2
Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Pega Developer to support a high-impact federal program in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a skilled application developer with expertise in the Pega Platform (PRPC) who enjoys designing and implementing scalable enterprise solutions in a secure government environment.
As a member of a collaborative Agile team, you will design, develop, configure, and deploy Pega-based applications that support mission-critical business processes. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in Pega application development, enterprise integrations, workflow automation, and application architecture. This position requires working on-site five days per week.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, configure, and deploy enterprise applications using the Pega Platform (PRPC).
  • Customize Pega solutions to meet business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Develop reusable components and scalable workflows following Pega best practices.
  • Integrate Pega applications with enterprise systems, APIs, and third-party platforms.
  • Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Ensure solutions comply with security standards, coding best practices, and government compliance requirements.
  • Support ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and optimization of existing Pega applications.
Required Skills/Education
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Experience developing enterprise applications using the Pega Platform (PRPC)
