Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Pega Developer to lead the development and modernization of the Grants Management application. This role requires a deep technical understanding of the Pega 24.1 (or later) platform and the ability to work effectively within an Agile Scrum environment. You will be responsible for translating mission requirements into robust technical solutions while ensuring seamless integration with modern front-end technologies and complex data architectures.
As a Pega Developer supporting the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR), you will be the technical engine behind the systems that fund the next generation of scientific breakthroughs. You won't just be coding; you will be modernizing the Grants Management infrastructure, ensuring that critical research funding reaches the world's leading scientists with efficiency and precision.
Education and Background
  • Pega Development & Administration: Execute traditional developer responsibilities within Pega Developer Studio and Admin Studio.
  • System Troubleshooting: Perform advanced debugging and system analysis using Tracer, Clipboard, Live UI, and Log Viewer to ensure optimal application performance.
  • Data Architecture: Design and maintain complex data structures required for the intricate workflows of the Grants Management system.
  • Agile Participation: Work actively within an Agile Scrum team, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment tasks.
  • Task Management: Use Agility (or equivalent) to track progress and manage sprint tasks.

Working Conditions
