Technical Sales Engineer - PCB & Micro Industrial Tools
Are you a technically skilled sales professional with a drive for innovation and customer success?
KYOCERA SGS Precision Tools Group (KSPT-G) is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer - Printed Circuit Board (PCB) & Micro Industrial Tools (MIT) to strengthen our market presence through direct and distribution sales channels. If you thrive on achieving results and developing long-term customer partnerships, we'd like to meet you.

Compensation: This position offers a base salary range of $84,900 to $106,177 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do: In this role, you'll apply your technical expertise and relationship-building skills to grow market share, deliver application-based tooling solutions, and influence revenue performance within your assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell KSPT-G products through distribution and direct OEM channels to achieve targeted growth goals.
  • Research customer needs, develop sales strategies, and expand market reach by identifying and cultivating new opportunities.
  • Provide technical training and product education to distributors and customers on tooling applications, features, and benefits.
  • Offer application-based solutions and support for technical challenges to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Maintain active engagement with customers through regular visits, follow-ups, and communication of new products and technologies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and the Global Sales Manager to share insights, support forecasting, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and uphold ISO 9001 standards.
  • Travel domestically (up to 70%) within your assigned territory.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred); equivalent experience considered. High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum 2 years of technical sales experience in cutting tools, machining, PCB tooling, or micro industrial applications.
  • Proven success influencing the sales process and driving technical consultancy-based growth.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic CRM tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet KSPT-G's insurance requirements.
