Job description

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage and process biweekly payroll operations for a large employee workforce. This role is responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy, maintaining compliance with payroll regulations, and supporting employee payroll-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process biweekly payroll and ensure accuracy of employee time records, deductions, garnishments, tax withholdings, and benefit contributions

  • Maintain and administer electronic timekeeping and payroll systems, including workforce management platforms

  • Coordinate payroll-related activities with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate employee data management

  • Update payroll records including compensation changes, deductions, transfers, scheduling updates, and benefit adjustments

  • Ensure compliance with payroll laws, company policies, and internal controls

  • Handle direct deposits, payroll audits, and payroll reporting functions

  • Support 401(k) administration, reporting, audits, and payroll submissions

  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions

  • Maintain confidential payroll files and documentation

  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing payroll records and reports

  • Recommend process improvements related to payroll systems and procedures

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • 3-5 years of payroll administration experience

  • Experience with UKG payroll and workforce management systems strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of payroll processing, payroll taxes, deductions, and compliance requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and multiple database systems

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment
