Accounting Manager

Full-Time | On-Site |


We’re seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to serve as the financial backbone of our clients organization. This is a highly hands-on, execution-focused role. You’ll own the full accounting function alongside a Staff Accountant and report directly to the President & CFO.

What You’ll Do

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

  • Independently own and execute full month-end close
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Prepare and format P&L statements for executive review
  • Process journal entries including commission accruals, prepaid expenses, insurance write-offs, and intercompany splits
  • Manage reconciliations and expense analysis

Cash Management, AP & AR

  • Monitor bank accounts daily
  • Process weekly payables, checks, and online payments
  • Support AR activities for across multiple properties, including collections follow-up and aging reports
  • Execute daily bank deposits through online scan systems


Payroll & HR Administration

  • Process semi-monthly payroll (Proliant, ADP or Paylocity experience desired)
  • Handle onboarding, terminations, and benefits administration
  • Coordinate annual benefits renewals with broker


Compliance & Tax

  • Coordinate with CPA on federal/state income and property tax filings
  • File all 1099s and W-2s
  • Manage quarterly payroll tax payments
  • Support annual insurance audits and business license filings


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven ability to independently own and execute full month-end close
  • Strong day-to-day accounting experience including AP, AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Payroll processing experience for multi-employee organizations
  • QuickBooks proficiency required
  • Must reside within ~25 miles of Johns Creek (Duluth, Alpharetta, Roswell, Milton, Norcross, Cumming, or Suwanee preferred)
