We are looking for a highly professional and detail-oriented Patient Enrollment Specialist to spearhead a major transition for our practice. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for over 2,000 patients as they enroll in our new concierge medical service plans. This is a high-volume, high-touch position that requires a blend of sophisticated sales communication and administrative precision.
Core Responsibilities for a Patient Enrollment Specialist
- High-Touch Communication: Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, providing detailed information about concierge medical plans and answering complex patient questions.
- Enrollment Management: Send and track electronic payment links, information pamphlets, and enrollment forms to interested patients.
- Data Processing: Accurately process all enrollment paperwork and provide formal confirmation to patients upon completion.
- Clinic Support: Provide coverage during lunches and breaks by assisting with patient check-ins and acting as a patient chaperone when needed.
What Youโll Bring to a Patient Enrollment Specialist position
- Experience: 3+ years of recent experience in a high-level administrative or sales role (e.g., Executive Assistant, High-End Sales, PSR, or Enrollment Specialist).
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the use of proper grammar and a professional demeanor.
- Detail Orientation: The ability to read, comprehend, and execute detailed oral and written instructions with high accuracy.
- Verification: Ability to provide 2 completed supervisor references.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred Skills
- Systems: Previous experience with CS-Link/Epic is a significant plus.
- Knowledge: A foundational understanding of medical terminology.
