Job description

The University of New Mexico's Continuing Education Department is seeking an Enrollment Services Representative to join our team and assist with the day-to-day operations and transactions in the Registration Office. As an Enrollment Services Representative you will be responsible for welcoming and assisting large volumes of customers and students in person, over the phone, and through email. You are a natural problem solver and can troubleshoot issues while adhering to the policies and guidelines.  You enjoy being in a busy, active environment and have an extreme attention to detail. You consider yourself a patient "people person," enjoy collaborating with team members, and are comfortable interacting with a diverse population.  
This position requires working in the office full time, as well as having the ability to work remotely as required. 
Duties and Responsibilities include: 

  • Provide general information to UNMCE customers regarding a large variety of programs. 
  • Assist customers with their registration, cancellation, and/or refund. 
  • Sustain a high level of professionalism with clients and work to establish a positive rapport with every customer, instructor, and vendor. 
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and changes in company policies. 
  • Work with a collaborative team problem solving, and turning frustrated clients into repeat customers, while making a positive impact on our bottom line. 
  • Handle cash, check, and credit card transactions.
  • Maintain general administrative/office duties. 
  • Run reports and review data for entry level data analysis. 
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
