Position Overview

Diamond Path Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team in Tucson, Arizona. The LPC will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional mental health services to individuals and families, empowering them to achieve their personal goals and improve their emotional well-being. As part of our remote work setting, you will provide counseling services that are both accessible and impactful, ensuring that our clients feel supported in their journey towards healing.

About the Organization

At Diamond Path Counseling, our mission is to enhance the mental health of individuals within our community, particularly focusing on those who face barriers to accessing quality care. We are dedicated to providing an array of mental health services that address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our team is composed of caring specialists committed to excellence in service delivery while fostering environments where clients feel safe and understood.

Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while still enabling impactful client interaction. Our community health clinic model emphasizes a collaborative and supportive approach, where LPCs work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for our clients. You will have access to a robust digital infrastructure that facilitates communication, documentation, and ongoing education, ensuring that you have the tools necessary to provide outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, couples, and groups, fostering a deeper understanding of their mental health challenges.
  • Utilize a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and safety.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay informed of new research and practices in the field of mental health.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and provide a comprehensive approach to client treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve clients who may have limited access to traditional mental health services, including underserved populations in the Tucson area. Your work will have a direct impact on their quality of life as you offer support for a wide range of mental health issues. The role involves engaging with clients from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing trauma, substance dependence, and emotional distress.

Qualifications

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active, unrestricted LPC license in the state of Arizona is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required, demonstrating effective therapy techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for establishing rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • A sound understanding of legal and ethical considerations relevant to mental health practice.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and related technologies.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team setting to enhance client care.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary between USD 70,000 and 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
  • Comprehensive benefits package includes dental, vision, and health insurance to support your well-being.
  • Professional liability (malpractice) insurance provided at no cost to you.
  • Access to numerous client referrals, reducing the burden of building a caseload from scratch.
  • Administrative support for billing and documentation, allowing you to focus more on client care.
  • A significant sign-on bonus will be available for qualified candidates joining our team.

Career Growth Opportunities

Joining Diamond Path Counseling opens pathways for professional growth and specialization within the mental health area. Continuous professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, will empower you to expand your expertise and better assist your clients. Opportunities for leadership roles within our growing organization may also be available as we continue to expand our services.

Why Join Our Team
