Position Overview

Diamond Path Counseling is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time capacity. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, including crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards while utilizing evidence-based screening tools as part of the assessment process.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that enhance client outcomes.
• Participating actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and standards.
• Serving as a liaison to community services, state agencies, and various partners to facilitate a holistic approach to client care.
• Establishing and nurturing relationships with local, state, federal, and private agencies to promote services and secure potential funding sources.
• Engaging in personal and professional development opportunities by attending conferences, training sessions, and representing the agency at relevant meetings and task forces.
• Upholding the values and principles of the agency in all aspects of work while performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals with mental health concerns, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and those recovering from acquired brain injuries. Your role is pivotal in addressing their unique challenges and supporting their journey toward health and wellness.

Qualifications

The minimum requirements for this position include:

• A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field.
• An Independent LMHC License in Massachusetts or the willingness to obtain licensure upon hire, with associated costs covered by Diamond Path Counseling.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, applicants with experience in crisis intervention, behavioral health treatment modalities, and collaborative programming will be prioritized. Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health counseling is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise. In addition to the salary, employees can expect:
