Position Overview

Diamond Path Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote team. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive mental health services aimed at enhancing the emotional well-being of our clients. Your expertise and support will empower individuals and families facing a range of mental health challenges.

About the Organization

At Diamond Path Counseling, we are dedicated to making mental health services accessible to all, particularly those who have limited access to care. Our organization is committed to fostering personal development and emotional resilience in our clients through a holistic approach to counseling. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional therapeutic support and creating a nurturing environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings.

Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing you to work comfortably from your home while providing telehealth services to clients. Our practice leverages modern technology to ensure that our counselors can connect effectively with clients through secure video and messaging platforms. Flexibility in your work schedule enables you to maintain an ideal work-life balance, which we strongly value as part of our organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to create individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions across various settings—including individual sessions, group therapy, and family counseling—tailored to the specifics of each client’s circumstances.
  • Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to facilitate client progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to enhance client care and outcomes through shared insights and treatment strategies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training activities to stay current with the latest advancements in the field of mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients we serve predominantly include individuals and families with limited access to mental health care, facing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use. Your role will involve working closely with diverse clientele, adapting your therapeutic approach to meet their specific needs and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications
  • Hold an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
  • Possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrate at least two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting, providing direct care to clients.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
  • Possess a solid understanding of legal and ethical standards in counseling practices.
  • Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software to document client progress and treatment analytics.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling is highly preferred.
  • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to achieve comprehensive client outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance to support your well-being.
  • Professional liability/malpractice insurance coverage.
  • A robust client referral program to help you build your practice quickly.
  • Administrative support with billing and documentation to help streamline your workload.
  • A generous sign-on bonus for eligible candidates joining our team.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Diamond Path Counseling, we believe in nurturing our team's professional development. As a member of our team, you will have access to ongoing training workshops, certification opportunities, and the potential for advancement to more senior roles within the organization. Your personal and professional growth is important to us as we strive to elevate the quality of care provided to our clients.

Why Join Our Team
