Pastry Chef

We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry arts, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create visually stunning and delicious pastries. As the Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Menu Development- develop and create a variety of sweet and savorypastries, desserts, and baked goods, including cookies, tarts, and other confections
  • Design and execute visually appealing pastry displays for the restaurant, hotel, or bakery
  • Follow and develop recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch
  • Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed
  • Ensure all pastries are prepared and presented according to established standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the management team and other kitchen staff to plan and develop new pastry items
  • Train and mentor junior pastry staff, providing guidance and support
  • Handle customer inquiries and special requests for pastry items
  • Stay current with industry trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas into the pastry menu

Qualifications:
