Four Star Freightliner is the Southeast region's leading heavy and medium-duty truck dealer that offers a comprehensive line of Freightliner and Western Star brand trucks for both highway and vocational use. The Parts & Service Account Manager is the Four Star Freightliner representative for Parts and Service. The primary responsibility of this role is to increase Parts and Service revenue by engaging with established customers, identifying, and calling on potential customers, and coordinating with Parts and Service Department managers in their assigned territories. Additionally, they will be responsible for recruiting customers to participate in the Excelerator program and provide Excelerator and Service Tracker training as needed for the customer. The Parts & Service Account Manager will develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers to support the customers, as well as the Parts, Service and Sales departments. The Parts & Service Account Manager will assist and support the Customer Experience Advocate
Essential Functions:
• Serve as liaison between the customer and the Parts and Service Departments.
• Assist / demonstrate to customers how to purchase parts by explaining the value-added features, benefits, and warranty of merchandise. Inform customers of companion part requirements, full product lines, and product offerings.
• Provide training to customers for Excelerator and Service Tracker, as needed.
• Coordinate with Parts & Service managers and front-line employees to provide quotes and other information to customers via email, phone and in person.
• Process payments and obtain credit authorization, as necessary.
• Manage and maintain customer accounts as assigned by manager.
• Solicit and prospect for new customers by means such as cold calling.
• Build relationships with customers in order to better meet their needs.
