Parts Technician

Dynomax Inc. is seeking a Parts Technician who will be responsible for managing inventory based on demand. Must be able to maintain stock of required parts, fluids and components at optimum levels. The Parts Technician will perform a variety of in-house services related to receiving, delivery and inventory.

Primary duties & responsibilities for the Parts Technician include:

  • The Parts Technician will acquire and maintain inventory of parts, fluids and components to assist in all repairs of Maintenance Department
  • Keep parts department (and all resources used to support parts department) clean, orderly and in good working condition
  • Record and issue PO requests and inventory control reports
  • Provide Service Techs with parts, as required
  • Perform routine housekeeping tasks that maintain and enhance the safety and cleanliness of parts, products and material handling equipment of the parts department
  • Assist Purchasing department in processing cores, warranties and new return merchandise as required
  • Use company resources such as forklifts, skylifts, ladders and vehicles safely
  • Verify receiving documents
  • Stock received purchase orders by unpacking, arranging and placing in designated bins and shelves.
  • Maintain company ERP system as it pertains to inventory control

Parts Technician Required Skills:

  • Must be able to work independently and follow through on instructions
  • Good written and verbal communication skills of the English language
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Able to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, skylifts, pallets jacks, etc.

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years' related work experience
  • Proficiency with hand tools

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift: 40-60 lbs. on a regular, daily basis
  • Ability to perform job tasks in a standing position for 6-8 consecutive hours.
  • Ability to handle industrial chemicals (oils, coolants, cleaners & paint thinners and standard cleaning products, etc.).
