Job Summary:

Performs a combination of manual and clerical inventory duties to support the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials. Requires working knowledge of inventory procedures and control processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Unload and organize incoming materials
  • Put away parts in stockroom, warehouse or production floor bins or shelves accurately following labeling procedures
  • Answer stockroom door to get materials for the various internal departments
  • Pick parts to fill Work Orders or Sales Orders by provided pick lists
  • Transfer parts from the department to production bins or shelves
  • Report any issues, abnormalities or surprise shortages to the Parts & Inventory Assistant Manager.
  • Performs year-end inventory counting
  • Perform cycle counting
  • Must be available, as needed, to work additional hours for stockroom reorganization, or related inventory projects
  • Complete all assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Maintain a "Customer Friendly" and professional attitude when dealing with customers internally and externally
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Operate Forklifts and Cranes in a safe manner to receive, stock or release items


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 โ€“ 2 yearsโ€™ experience in similar position


Physical Requirements:

  • Periods of walking and sitting
  • Ability to twist/turn, stoop/bend/squat, push/pull/reach
  • Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, repetitive hand/wrist movement, forearm rotation
  • Ability to climb ladders/step stools
