Job description

Dealer Solutions, Inc. (DSI) performs physical inventories in auto dealership parts departments. We are seeking a Manager to lead parts inventories who has either been a Fixed Ops Manager, Parts Manager, or Parts Specialist in a dealership.
DMS experience ideally with CDK and/or Reynolds required.
Our open position of Parts Inventory Manager is a full-time salaried manager and does have a commission plan.

Job Duties:
  • Serves as the client’s primary point of contact for a physical inventory count.
  • Facilitates internal and external pre-inventory communication, ensuring mutual expectations are defined as well as developing a plan to meet these expectations.
  • Manages all DSI staff and support staff assigned to an inventory event to ensure a timely, thorough, and accurate inventory count process.
  • Actively works and interacts with the client throughout the event to ensure timely resolution of any questions or concerns.
  • Directs all post-inventory activities and tasks to ensure each is completed according to established policies, practices, and client expectations.
  • Maximizes the profitability of each inventory event by managing labor expenses through process efficiencies.
  • Promotes the mission, vision, and values of WIS International and regularly incorporates such in their dealings with employees, clients, and others with whom manager interacts during the course of their work with DSI.

Qualifications:
  • This work includes weekends other than holidays. If you are not available to work on weekends this job will not be a good fit.
  • Parts operation experience working in an Auto Dealership.
  • Knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (DMS) is required, ideally proficiency in CDK and/or Reynolds.
  • Strong staff leadership, planning, and organizational experience required.
  • Comfortable in a client-facing role, with strong customer service, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills.
  • We've grown a large base of jobs across New England, but there will be travel out of market on weekends when we don't have local inventories scheduled.
