Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Partnership Sales is a key revenue-generating role responsible for securing new corporate partnerships for the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Partnerships and working closely with the broader AEG Global Partnerships team, this role leads the development and execution of strategic sponsorship sales initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven professional with a proven track record of building relationships, closing high-value deals, and thriving in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Opportunities may also exist to contribute to partnership efforts across other AEG-owned or managed properties.
Essential Functions
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate partnerships by selling across stadium, digital, content, hospitality, and experiential assets for LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park.
  • Execute a consistent, high-volume outbound sales strategy including cold outreach, networking, industry event participation, and targeted prospecting to secure meetings with senior decision-makers.
  • Lead the full sponsorship sales process from initial outreach through contract negotiation and closing of multi-asset, multi-year agreements.
  • Conduct discovery meetings with prospective clients to uncover brand objectives, category priorities, and business challenges, positioning LA Galaxy/AEG as a strategic marketing solution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver customized partnership proposals and pitch presentations that connect brand goals with LA Galaxy and MLS platforms.
  • Integrate consumer insights, category trends, and data-driven storytelling into sales presentations to create innovative, value-based solutions for partners.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools (ShowTime) and prospecting platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo), providing regular updates on revenue progress and prospect status.
  • Represent the LA Galaxy at all home matches and selected AEG events, hosting prospective and current partners to strengthen relationships and advance sales opportunities.

Required Qualifications
  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.
  • 6-8 years of related work experience within professional sports, agencies, premium hospitality, or major venues.
  • Proven success in securing multi-year, high value sponsorships.
  • Experience navigating competitive sales environments with demonstrated resilience and consistent quota achievement.
  • Major league property experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills; confident engaging at the C-suite level.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling abilities; polished in front of clients and large groups.
  • Excellent negotiation and deal-structuring expertise with consultative, solution-based selling approach.
  • Ability to connect marketing trends to unique LA Galaxy and MLS sponsorship assets.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook), CRM systems, and prospecting platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Sponsor United).
  • High level of professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay Scale: $92,530 - $115,000
Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
