For nearly 30 years, we have provided academic services in hospital settings, helping school-age patients to continue their academic progress during treatment and successfully reenter the classroom.
About the Team:
LearnWell has a Business Development is accountable for the growth of the Academics business and sells to C-Level titles in behavioral health treatment facilities. We have a culture of rolling up our sleeves and jumping in to look for unique ways to engage with prospects differently to get that first conversation started and bring them through the pipeline.
About the Role:
In this role, you will play a crucial role by securing partnerships with behavioral health facilities and hospitals. You will research and target healthcare partnerships, generate new opportunities, propose customized education solutions for customers, create financial forecasts and close deals with healthcare executives. You will have direct accountability to the CRO and additional coaching support from the Director of Business Development. They will provide booking goals and help create a personal growth development plan.
It is critical that the right person for the job is humble enough to prospects their own leads, highly intelligent to adapt to different selling environments dependent on states and levels of clinical care, and able to negotiate with senior level healthcare executives. This role is the entire sales cycle from start to finish.
Responsibilities Include:

Compensation and Benefits:
  • $70,000-$75,000 base pay
  • Variable bonus potential based on personal performance of percentage of revenue billed on booked accounts
  • 15 personal days, 5 sick days, and 11 holidays

  • Bachelor's degree along with 10+ years of work experience and 7+ years of demonstrated success in direct B2B selling, services preferred.
  • Prior experience in hospital organization sales; ideally have experience in behavioral health business development
  • Proven success selling six-figure deals at the executive level
  • Experience prospecting and selling via phone and email, as well as via video conference and in-person
  • Strong ability and interest in using, demonstrating and discussing technology solutions.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%. (Work-from-home option available for remainder of time).
