Red Bull New York (RBNY) is one of 30 clubs competing in Major League Soccer (MLS) and has been part of the league since its inaugural season in 1996. As one of MLS's original charter clubs, RBNY has built a strong legacy both on and off the field. The First Team plays home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey, while the Second Team competes at Montclair State University. RBNY is part of the global Red Bull network and is owned by Red Bull GmbH.
On the field, RBNY's First Team has captured three MLS Supporters' Shields and two Conference Championships, while the Second Team earned the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Championship. The Senior Manager, Partnership Sales plays a key leadership role on the Red Bull New York commercial team, driving revenue growth through strategic partnership development across the RBNY ecosystem. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building meaningful client relationships, and developing creative sponsorship solutions that align with partner goals. Through a consultative, client-focused approach, the Senior Manager will uncover business needs, craft innovative partnership strategies, and deliver impactful solutions that create value for both partners and the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    Will report to the Senior Director of Marketing Partnerships
    Drive new business revenue through the sale of integrated corporate partnerships across club assets, entitlement platforms, jersey placement, digital/social, stadium inventory, experiential, youth programs and hospitality
    Develop strategic outbound sales plans and maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects through consistent outreach, networking, referrals, industry events, and relationship management.
    Lead the full sales cycle from initial outreach through proposal development, pricing strategy, negotiation, contracting, and handoff to activation team
    Build customized, insight-driven partnership platforms that align brand objectives with club, stadium and fan engagement opportunities
    Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, analytics, operations, legal, finance and partnership activation teams to develop compelling partnership solutions and ensure successful execution
    Prepare and deliver high-level presentations to C-Suite executives, decision-makers and agency stakeholders
    Stay informed on industry trends across sports, entertainment and media to identify emerging partnership opportunities
    Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, client entertainment functions and league-related meetings
    Mentor and support junior sales staff through collaboration, strategic guidance, and best practices in sponsorship sales and prospecting
    Contribute to department-wise revenue strategy, inventory packaging, go-to-market planning, and overall commercial growth initiatives
    Meet and exceed individual and departmental revenue goals on an annual basis

EXPERIENCE

  • SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Minimum of 4 experience in a sales support role at a team, agency or client-based within the sports or entertainment industry.
  • Knowledge and experience with marketing platform integration (digital, event, hospitality, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience with using ideation and creative concepting to deliver business results
  • Must be highly motivated, proactive, self-starter with high energy and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced client service environment.
  • Demonstrated experience fostering excellent internal and external working relationships.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with data processing, Microsoft Office applications, and social media applications.
  • Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company (including nights and weekends).
