Spanning the entire care continuum, Mantra Health provides comprehensive digital support to every member of the student body while using predictive modeling to identify those at high risk of dropout and extensive population analytics. From acceptance to graduation, Mantra Health ensures that both proactive wellness and targeted intervention are always within reach. Currently deployed across 150+ colleges and universities, Mantra Health serves over 1.3 million students and is actively reimagining how institutions manage mental well-being and student success.

We've raised over $34m from leading investors. We're looking for ambitious, talented, action-oriented individuals to join us in shaping the future of student mental healthcare.

Opportunity for Impact

We are seeking a Senior Partner Success Manager (Sr. PSM) to lead and optimize strategic university partnerships as we scale. This role is a unique blend of hands-on account leadership and strategic influence, owning the long-term success and growth of our institutional relationships across the higher education landscape. You'll be responsible for deepening engagement, driving adoption, and influencing key outcomes such as renewals, expansions, and partner satisfaction.

This position offers a unique opportunity to help shape the future of collegiate mental healthcare by playing a key role in partner strategy, retention innovation, and value delivery at scale.

What You'll Do
  • Strategic Account Ownership: Serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of high-impact university partners, developing and executing strategic account plans that align institutional goals with Mantra's services.
  • Retention & Growth Leadership: Drive outcomes across renewal, expansion, and satisfaction by aligning value with partner priorities, leading contract discussions, and creating account stickiness through multi-threaded engagement.
  • Data-Driven Storytelling: Regularly prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, product demonstrations, and QBRs/EBRs that translate utilization and outcomes data into compelling insights that reinforce ROI and fuel partner advocacy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner internally with Clinical, Marketing, Product, and Implementation teams to ensure partner needs are met, feedback is actioned, and new services are launched successfully.
  • Implementation and Change Management Facilitation: Support partners through implementations and transitions such as leadership changes, shifting funding structures, or onboarding new campuses by aligning stakeholders, easing adoption, and reinforcing long-term success.
  • Revenue Driver: Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets through renewals, expansions and cross-sell efforts while helping to bring new product and services to market.
Who You AreCore Competencies
  • Communication: You clearly and effectively convey insights, updates, and value across diverse audiences—from deans of students to clinical directors—adapting your voice and format to meet the moment.
  • Customer Focus: You champion the needs of your partners while aligning them with Mantra's goals. You're trusted, empathetic, and solution-oriented, with a bias toward long-term impact.
  • Accountability: You act like an owner. You follow through on commitments, communicate proactively, and solve problems instead of waiting for permission.
  • Problem Solving: You think strategically and critically, using both data and instinct to diagnose issues and propose high-leverage solutions that address root causes.
  • Collaboration: You build trust across functions and with clients alike, welcoming diverse perspectives and pushing for shared success over individual wins.
Role-Specific Competencies
  • Contract Negotiation & Renewal Management: You are confident managing renewals, scoping expansions, leading first-round contractual negotiation discussions, and leading commercial conversations that reinforce partnership value and integrity.
  • Stakeholder Mapping & Multi-Threading: You know how to navigate complex partner ecosystems and build durable relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Value Realization & Data Storytelling: You're fluent in translating utilization, access, and outcome data into stories that inspire action and demonstrate impact.
  • Change Management Facilitation: You are a thoughtful guide through institutional change, helping partners adopt new systems and overcome internal resistance.
  • Strategic Account Planning: You proactively chart growth strategies, anticipate future needs, and position Mantra as an indispensable partner over time.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Highly skilled in partner success motions, account management, or customer success—preferably in health tech, SaaS, higher education, or clinical services; higher education experience is strongly preferred
  • Proven success managing long-term, high-touch client relationships with measurable outcomes (renewals, upsells, satisfaction)
  • Experience leading executive-level conversations, crafting account plans, and delivering regular business impact reviews
  • History of attainment in retention as well as quota (net ARR)
  • Demonstrable project management (completing projects on time, under budget, etc.) and communication skills
  • Demonstrates accountability and ownership
  • Passion for improving access to mental healthcare and equity in higher education
  • Brings curiosity, creativity, and care
  • Comfort with AI tools for communication, analysis, and workflow automation

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with universities, colleges, or mental health organizations
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Looker, or similar CRM/analytics tools
  • Background in clinical services, healthcare delivery, and student affairs
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced startup environment where systems are evolving
  • Experience building AI workflows or prompt libraries to scale productivity across account portfolios
Why Choose Mantra
  • Impactful Opportunity: Opportunity to serve university administration and students within a mission-driven organization.
  • Collaborative Culture: A chance to collaborate with a passionate, dedicated, and innovative team focused on increasing access to mental health care.
  • Career Advancement and Professional Growth: Exceptional opportunities for professional growth through skill development, mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and role ownership along with advancement opportunities as we grow the organization.
  • Remote Work: Flexibility to work from a remote location.
  • Competitive Compensation & Benefits: Opportunity to grow your income based on your performance in addition to a competitive base compensation package.
