Job description

Job Overview

American Heritage Lending is looking for a Partner Engagement Associate who is passionate about the customer experience and wants to learn about non QM lending. No Lending Experience is required. A successful Partner Engagement Associate needs to have a strong appetite to learn, is motivated by onboarding new accounts and can build relationships easily. This role is a stepping stone to an Account Executive (sales/originations)! The ideal candidate is motivated to watch, listen, learn and build the American Heritage Lending’s brand and. This role is meant for the person that wants to grow into a mortgage origination role!

This role is full time in office in Troy, Michigan.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with brokers, loan officers, and other referral sources.
  • Handle daily inbound and outbound calls with confidence- screening inquiries to ensure they align with our loan product guidelines while delivering exceptional service.
  • Aim for 100 outbound dials per day, leveraging client data and contact information to identify prospects that match American Heritage Lending’s ideal client profile.
  • Collaborate with your manager to continuously refine call scripts and strategies, ensuring every conversation is impactful, engaging, and tailored for success.
  • Support originators in nurturing and strengthening broker and loan officer partnerships through various channels, including company leads and referrals.
  • Manage lead activities in OptifiNow including prospecting, marketing and segmentation activities.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing teams to identify potential business sources.
  • Qualify potential borrowers or brokers and take loan applications, ensuring the client is successfully set up in our system with access to the technology platforms they need

Experience & Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):

  • Recent College Graduate.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Innovative and resourceful, with the ability to thrive under pressure in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Competent with spreadsheets, databases and presentation tools.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines with a positive attitude.
