Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual...

CLEAResult, the North American leader in the design and implementation of Demand Side Management (DSM) programs for energy utility clients, is seeking a high-performing Program Manager to own a large, complex electric utility client program end-to-end and deliver measurable outcomes across cost, performance, quality, and client satisfaction.

In this role, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, translate client and business goals into an executable delivery strategy, and lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity to consistent, predictable results. You will serve as a senior, trusted partner to clients and internal leaders, set a rigorous operating cadence, and provide strong financial and contractual stewardship throughout the program lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines executive-level communication, disciplined program execution, and people leadership with a continuous-improvement mindset.

Here at CLEAResult, you will fit right in with our energetic team if you are resourceful, resilient, and kind.

For this role, you're a great fit if you can excel in these key areas...

  • Own one or more complex client programs end-to-end, with accountability for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and performance outcomes.
  • Act as the senior client point of contact, leading governance forums and executive readouts, managing escalations, and influencing priorities and decisions.
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional partners (e.g., operations, finance, marketing, legal, analytics, and administration) to deliver against program commitments and remove delivery blockers.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams through clear goals, coaching, accountability, and a culture of operational excellence.
  • Own program financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor planning, and cost controls; identify variances early and drive corrective actions.
  • Manage contract execution and compliance, ensuring on-time delivery, accurate documentation, and a consistently high-quality client experience.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to negotiate and implement amendments, scope changes, and contract modifications, clearly communicating impacts to timeline, cost, and risk.
  • Define, monitor, and report KPIs (operational, financial, and client satisfaction), using data to surface insights, manage risks, and drive performance improvements.
  • Anticipate and resolve program challenges by evaluating trade-offs, aligning stakeholders, and implementing scalable, sustainable solutions.
  • Establish and continuously improve program governance (milestones, operating cadence, and decision forums) to ensure alignment with goals, client requirements, and delivery standards.

Exciting candidates will have...

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven track record of delivering complex programs with measurable outcomes (e.g., cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction) in a client-facing environment.
  • Two or more years of people leadership experience, including coaching and performance management.
  • Executive presence and strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex topics and drive decisions with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing large-scale programs with budget ownership, forecasting rigor, and regular performance reporting to leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights; proficiency with reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Workday reporting, and Microsoft 365).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity using structured problem-solving, sound judgment, and bias for action.
  • Project/program management certification (e.g., PMP) or equivalent formal training is preferred.
  • Experience with contract administration, vendor management, and client-facing agreements is preferred.
  • Experience in energy efficiency, utilities, or comparable service-based programs is preferred.
