Job description

Description

HITRUST is seeking a Manager of Partner Programs to support the day-to-day execution, enablement, and growth of our assessor and reseller ecosystem. This visible, hands-on role will serve as a key connection point between HITRUST and its partner community, helping ensure partners are informed, aligned, engaged, and equipped to represent HITRUST effectively in the market.

This role is ideal for an experienced partner programs professional who can improve consistency, scalability, and partner engagement within an established program. The Manager, Partner Programs will manage core partner relationships, support education and enablement efforts, assist with reseller activation, improve partner communications, and help strengthen operational discipline across the ecosystem.

Success in this role requires strong execution skills, excellent communication, commercial awareness, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Customer Success, Operations, and other internal teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assessor Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day relationship owner for HITRUST assessors, building strong working relationships across top firms while maintaining connection with the broader assessor base.
  • Act as the voice of the assessor community within HITRUST, surfacing feedback, risks, opportunities, and partner needs to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support assessor onboarding, communications, renewals, escalation management, and ongoing program operations.
  • Strengthen trust, engagement, and accountability across the assessor ecosystem.

Partner Education and Enablement

  • Support and execute ongoing education and enablement efforts for assessors and partners, helping ensure they understand HITRUST offerings, product updates, program changes, and positioning expectations.
  • Help develop and improve enablement mechanisms such as webinars, training sessions, office hours, playbooks, messaging guides, and structured communication cadences.
  • Equip partners to navigate customer conversations, represent HITRUST professionally, understand when to involve HITRUST, and communicate pricing models appropriately.
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, current, and aligned with HITRUST standards.

Reseller Growth and Activation

  • Support activation and growth across the reseller channel, with a focus on engaging existing partners, assisting assessors interested in becoming resellers, and identifying opportunities to expand partner-sourced pipeline.
  • Partner closely with Sales to identify partner-led opportunities, support joint account strategies, assist co-selling motions, and provide visibility into partner activity and pipeline opportunities.
  • Help onboard and activate new resellers by ensuring they understand HITRUST's offerings, expectations, and go-to-market approach.
  • Monitor reseller engagement and identify opportunities to improve participation, performance, and revenue contribution.

 Partner Engagement and Communication

  • Help create and maintain a consistent, predictable engagement model for assessors, resellers, and other ecosystem partners.
  • Manage recurring partner communications, including partner updates, program announcements, educational content, and other timely messages.
  • Improve how partners access information by supporting the evolution toward more self-service resources, including potential partner portal capabilities.
  • Ensure communications are clear, timely, professional, and aligned with HITRUST's messaging and program expectations.

  Program Consistency and Standards

  • Support consistency in how partners understand, communicate, and represent HITRUST in the market.
  • Reinforce clear expectations, consistent messaging, and alignment with HITRUST policies, standards, and program requirements.
  • Support the integrity and independence of the assessor ecosystem by ensuring proper escalation paths and program standards are understood and followed.
  • Identify inconsistencies or gaps in partner behavior and take action to improve alignment and accountability.

What Success Looks Like

  • Assessors are well-informed, aligned, and confident representing HITRUST in customer and market conversations.
  • The broader assessor base is more engaged, including increased participation from partners that have historically been underutilized.
  • More partners actively contribute to pipeline generation, customer conversations, and reseller opportunities.
  • Partner messaging is more consistent, accurate, and aligned with HITRUST's positioning.
  • Reseller activity and partner-sourced pipeline show measurable growth.
  • The partner program feels organized, responsive, easy to engage with, and better positioned to scale.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in channel, partner programs, customer success, ecosystem management, business development, or a related role.
  • Proven ability to manage external partner relationships and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong operational orientation with the ability to create structure, manage multiple priorities, follow through, and drive execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train, educate, and influence external partners.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Customer Success, Operations, and other internal teams.
  • Comfort using data and feedback to identify gaps, track program health, and recommend improvements.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a hands-on role that requires both program management and relationship management.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with consulting firms, audit firms, services partners, assessors, or similar ecosystem partners.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, compliance, GRC, TPRM, assurance, or related markets.
  • Experience building partner enablement programs, training content, playbooks, messaging guides, or partner communication cadences.
  • Exposure to reseller, channel sales, co-selling, or partner-sourced pipeline motions.
